A Wisconsin restaurant worker was shot in the face last month after a pair of customers grew angry over a $3 hamburger missing from their order. Donald Trump praised Vladimir Putin's plan to invade Ukraine as 'genius' and called the Russian leader 'very savvy' on Tuesday, hours after he put out a statement saying Russia would have never invaded Ukraine under his watch. Speaking with conservative podcaster Buck Sexton, the former president said: 'I went in yesterday and there was a television screen, and I said, "This is genius,"' Trump recalled. 'Putin declares a big portion of the Ukraine - of Ukraine -- Putin declares it as independent. Oh, that's wonderful.' 'I said, "How smart is that?'" the former U.S. president continued. 'And he's gonna go in and be a peacekeeper. That's the strongest peace force… We could use that on our southern border. That's the strongest peace force I've ever seen. There were more army tanks than I've ever seen. They're gonna keep peace all right.'

More than 10,000 soldiers entered separatist-occupied areas overnight, a source with links to Ukrainian military intelligence told MailOnline, with 6,000 sent to Donetsk, 5,000 to Luhansk and 1,500 to the city of Horlivka. Two Army Black Hawk helicopters were captured crashing near the Mineral Basin area in Utah (right) during a National Guard training exercise. At 9:30 am two UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters were damaged during a training exercise when the lead aircraft kicked up snow while landing and portions of the helicopter's blade separated and struck the second helicopter's main rotor blades, Utah National Guard Aviation spokesman Lt. Jared Jones (right) said in a press conference. The crash took place near the Mineral Basin, a backside bowl area at the Snowbird Ski Resort about 28 miles from Salt Lake City. It is still not known if the Black Hawks are still useable and a safety accident investigation underway to find out the cause of accident.

Travis McMichael, his dad Gregory McMichael, and friend Roddy Bryan, who filmed the February 2020 murder in Macon, Georgia, were convicted Tuesday morning. The McMichaels were already serving life without parole after being convicted of murder at state trial and Bryan was serving life with the possibility of parole after 15 years, but he now faces extra time because of the federal conviction. After the verdict, the Arbery family announced plans to file civil lawsuits now that the criminal investigations and trials are complete. It is unclear who they will file charges against. Unlike the state murder trial last year, the federal trial focused mostly on the racial elements of the case and the slurs the men used against Arbery. The men all pleaded not guilty, insisting as they did at their state trial that they chased and killed Arbery because they thought he was a burglar.

A mother-of-two, who goes by Amaro (left), was the victim of a road rage attack at a McDonald's parking lot in Richmond, California, after an unidentified woman (right) accused her of cutting her in the drive-thru lane. Amaro said she was 'terrified' during the attack which happened with two young kids, aged three and five, in her car. The furious woman started throwing items, including a water bottle, at Amaro's car before going back into her vehicle and ramming the victim's van. Amaro, who was no longer recording the incident, got out of her car to stand in front of the suspect's car so that she couldn't drive away from the scene. However, the suspect decided to accelerate, running over Amaro with her front bumper. Amaro was able to hold on to the hood of the car for 150 feet before the suspect hard-braked, prompting her to fall off. The suspect then got out of her vehicle and punched Amaro several times before driving away. Amaro has fully recovered from the incident, but Richmond Police are still on the lookout for the suspect

A hearing was held in Michigan to determine whether Ethan Crumbley, 15, should be transferred from an adult jail to a juvenile facility, with prosecutors arguing that he could pose a risk to his peers. A prosecutor said that Crumbley enjoyed torturing baby birds and plotted to stalk, rape, torture and murder a female classmate. Prior to the November 30 school shooting, the suspect allegedly planned to surrender 'so that he could witness the pain and suffering that he caused.'

Norma Matthews and Edith Antoncecchi were born near Boston on December 23, 1921. They became outcasts at age 13 when their father left their mother, so they relied on each other for fun and companionship. Both got married within months of one another and had their first babies the same year. They never lived more than two cities apart, and when their husbands both died in 1994, they moved together to Florida, where they share a mobile home. The crew from Air Station Miami received a callout from the Shear Water fishing boat at around 12.50 p.m. Monday to report a shark attack at Bimini, a Bahamas island chain 80 miles off the coast of Florida. It was reported that the 51-year-old victim was losing blood so they had placed a tourniquet around his arm. The Coast Guard filmed the moment their Dolphin helicopter appeared above the vessel, the wounded fisherman seen clearly lying on the deck. After an officer safely lowers themselves down onto the boat before bringing down a rescue basket. The man is then seen being lifted up to safety and being flown to Miami.

Dr. Alicia Jeffrey-Thomas, a Massachusetts-based doctor of physical therapy, demonstrated the yoga moves in a now-viral TikTok video.
